Couldn't leave the range today without trying some 300 grain Lee REALs out of the .54 GP flintlock. Fired one five-shot group at 50 yards with 95 grains GOEX FFFg and a Remington Wonder Wad. I was hoping for something a little better than what I got (target below). I can't explain the horizontal stringing. Anybody got any guesses?
I shot them once before back on Feb. 9th., using 80 grains powder and got a much more reasonable group.
