I have loaded for 2-340 Wbys., and one 338 Win. Mag. All three rifles I loaded for preferred the 250's. The 250 Sierra shot great. I tried some of the lighter Barnes 200 grain X's, but I did not have a lot of success. I think a lot of it was the weight, but then it has been my experience that all Wbys.(at least the one's I have loaded for) prefer the heavy for caliber bullets.

There was a guy on the long range hunter forum who was advertising a NIB LH Remington LSS in 338 Ultra Mag. Good luck with that Browning. Tom.
