Well did the deed, having just moved my browning abolt SS Stalker 270win to a new home this week, I wasted little time throwing the money at a new additonfill the empty safe slot. Much to my suprise another LH Browning Abolt SS Stalker found its way home[&:]. However this time its chambered in a 338wm. Actually the gun isn't "new" but shows as if it were the owner bought it, decieded didn't like the recoil so on the block it did go. The deal included rifle which has seen just over a box of factory shells (18left in box number 2), leupold DD Med bases/rings, dies NIB, 100ct never firedbrass and 100 225gr AB's. The deal was unpassable in my mind, the gun felt great and if it shoots will be a well used tool. I am trying to deciede if i leave the leupold rings or go with a set of Talley LWs??? Scope will be Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40. I will most likely have the trigger spring replaced and add get rid of the factory pad. I figure it should be a good tool for elk and moose. EKM might even agree with me finally.

I'll most likely shoot off the 225gr ab's on paper but move to the Barnes TSX for hunting??? Though Have heard good things about either in the 338wm????

Now I just have to find some loads and time to shoot the new thumper[8D]
