The majority don't but they do get called a lot of different things by those that choose to shoot mature bucks however.

I'm one of those haven't shot a buck in three years but don't care if I let one walk and the guy down the ridge shoots it kinda guy.

To be honest some of the reply's I've seen here against shooting a fawn are exactly the same as people with bucks. No challenge, your a baby, [8D]not a mature hunter and my favorite it's immoral.
