bows consistently shoot the best when they are at their maximum poundage, I suppose due to less free play in movement. in other words, ifa 50-60, and a 60-70 were both set at 60, the 50-60 would likely shoot more consistently and tune easier. So in your case, upping the weight probably helped the accuracy.
