I like the85 grain Cor-bon DPX hollow point for my .243. Has some great velocity in this make.
Shot (2) 220 lb bucks here in Ontario at around 200-275 yards a few years ago. Not so great up close.A 100 grain bullet works better for the 100 yard shots.
This past early winter 2007, I got a small 2 and a half year old bull moose at 175 yards with 85 Cor-bon bullet. One shot, dropped on the spot at full trot. Not my sellection for moose but I was hunting this enormus racked buck for several days and came upon the moose.
Never got the buck.
