It's relitively easy to lighten the pull on a mossberg by polishing the hammer CAREFULLY for slightly less engagement. However-DON'T change the angle and just go a little at a time,try it,repeat until the pull weight is where you (and him) can live with it. Remember-it's also awful easy to go too far and make hammer inoperable or unsafe.
