Haven't done it this way for awhile, but backpack and stand on back, ladder on one shoulder and bow in the other hand. Put two lengths of ladder together and raise up high enough to place bottom section in and begin attaching to tree. Put stand on back again (both hands free to climb and move tether) and climb up with rope attached to pull bow up when ready.

15 min to set up that way. Later, I started hiding the ladder under leaves and brush so I didn't have to carry it when going back to the same places a few days apart.
