I am going to try to take a turkey with my uncles H&R singleshot 12 ga (if it patterns ok). For those of you who havent had the privalegde of shootinga gun like this let me tell you, they kick like a mule. Trap loads gave me a bruise, granted I shot a box of them. I think I am addicted to shoulder pain. Anyone else ever use a single shot 12 gauge on turkeys? If so did you have to have a shoulder replaced?
