I'm strongly looking at the CZ 550 Varmint Kevlar, are we speaking of the same rifle? I want one in .22-250, personally in my opinion there are only 2 varmint rounds, .22-250 Rem, which is popular, and .220 Swift which may be the best, but not as available. I wish the best cartridges were also the most popular, don't you agree?
I don't think a 220 Swift or a 22-250 are any better than the ol 223. When you take in factors like powder consumption, action length, bullets, and velocity, the 223 is right there with all of 'em, only it burns lots less powder.

Its also way tough to shoot out a 223 barrel compared to the Swift and the 250. A few serious days of p-dog banging can take the life out of the latter two cartridges.

I'm not disrespecting the Swift or 250, I'm just looking for something alot more economical to shoot.
