The 340 gr DC don't need any jacket to keep warm.
Very true. But pure lead comes with a built-in speed limit. It's be nice to have a light to moderate weight bullet with a better BC than the SW (which I believe DCs do) but a jacket to overcome the speed limit (about 1800fps in my experience).
