What is the point of this thread? I don't mean that as a criticism, but just curious what we are learning from this.
I suppose we're learning what a 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 yr old deer looks like in differing areas of the country. I thin's it's pretty common knowledge a 1.5 in KS might not look like a 1.5 yr old in FL. But we see a lot of posts where we're asked to "age this deer". I just thought "location" played a big part (a lot of the time) on our ability to do this intelligently.

Got it. My main reason for asking is that we are seeing a lot of trail cam pics of live deer saying definitively that this is a x.x year old deer. In my experience until you have a deer on the ground and can look at histeeth, weight, and body size up close it us impossible to know for sure the age of a livedeer unless you have watched it from a 1.5 year old on.
So, I'massuming most of these are educated guesses at age (which is why I only posted dead deer, I know for sure on them).
