I have killed deer with flint heads and cedar arrows so you know my answer...I always clean my heads and throw them back in my quiver..I never re sharpen my expandles unless they are really messed up...At 280 + feet a second....you poke a hole in the fitals and the animal bleeds...its yours.......Think about what the indians did and don't listen to the over protective sharpening people....think about the basics of the harvest...You make a hole....the animal bleeds......good luck!!
