Replace the blades, the actual head should be fine. The blades however, take a look really carefully with magnification. That one head that went into the dirt won't look anywhere near as sharp as a fresh one.
As a large scale example, a chains saw is really good on wood but hit the dirt with it and you'll feel a difference in how it cuts the wood!
