RE: 800GR ARROW
I have never but friends have. One just returned and I believe he took a nice cape on this trip. He's taken several animals with a bow. Brother just returned. He didn't bow hunt but knows what needs to be done. They use carbons. If I get a chance I'll ask him about it. If you've never been there, beware of trouble in all forms.
My brother just took a nice bull elephant. It was a fifty pounder when he left. Got a call yesterday thatit was a 52 pounder.2 pounds over means an extra$2500. He's not complaining and was told up front that if hehad a problem with the extra cost the guide wouldmake sure he was under50. That wasabout the only thing that wasclearly stated. The outfit tried to tell him after he took the elephant that weather or not he shot the remaining game he'd been lined up for he'd still have to pay. B.S. he said, turn around now. They decided he was right and did get to shot the others although a cape got away intoland off limits. He still payed for it. You will too if you don'trecover it. Make sure of your shot. They have all kinds of problems there.Getting through the airports a real adventure in it's self.
