I was 13 and not able to hunt on my own but Dad would take me with him and I would rattle and glass for deer.Well my parents owned there own business and dad was runnin late with a customer so we hurried up and got all our hunting stuff together and headed out 20 mins before dark.We pull up into the field of my grandfathers farm and where walking along o fenceline at 250 yds we see this large 8 point just shakin its head in the swamp. So were standing there lookin at this buck and trying to determine if it was a taker and dad pulls up and shots at about 300yds the deer just drops.So we wade across the swamp(up to my belly button at that time of year) and look at our prize.He had shot it in the eye ball at 250+ yds...Man was I excited
