for a 150 grain bullet, start with a 46 grain charge this is 10% below max of 51 grains. and work up in .3 grain increments untill you begin to see signs of excessive pressure. if you dont experience any excessive pressure clear up to the max charge then great!! but if you experience excessive pressure before the max charge then note the charge weight and decrease by .3 to .5 grains and that will be your max charge for that specific load combination. this is how it is done regardless of bullet manufacture
