Default browning bar accuracey

I bought a browning bar 30-06 made in 1972 last year
I decided to put a scope on it this year and hunt with it
I put a ziess 3x9x40 conquest scopewith leoupold 1 piece base and rings on it
now the question
got it on the paper at 100 yds i can shoot one 4 shot group and it will cut the same hole
then i can shoot another 4 shot group and it will be all over the place
i tried shooting twice the allowing the barrel to cool for a bit still first four or five shots will cut the same holethen it goes all to hell
even when it cuts the same hole it may be high, low, left or right never the same place
is there anything with the browning bar that can make it do this
any help would be a great
Thanks, Russell Moore
