Different areas can be different as well. In the area I hunt if you shoot a deer they will move out of there for about 2 weeks. But when I went down state to where my brother hunted you can shoot a deer and get another 1 in the same spot. So yes I would give it a try again...if no luck I would try it again in a few days..
