Um, pretty sure they wont come in to check out the "chainsaw" !
Sure they will...I worked on chainsaws and skidders when I was younger...Deer are naturally curious, they will come in and watch you cut a tree...The will also eat the leaves off those limbs once you leave...

About 20 years ago I spent most of the afternoon disking cut corn...About 5:00, I finished, parked the tractor, grabbed my .243, made me a sandwich and a drink and walked back to the field...I sat down with my back to a tree and had my snack, deer started coming into the field before 6:00...Ended up seeing 37 deer....35 left the field on their own...
