I have two Remington 700 ML's. One a 54 cal likes 100gr. triple 7 and 300gr. 50 ca.lSpeer Gold Dots in a MMP purple sabot.
The other a 50cal Likes 80 gr. Triple 7 with a 45 cal 230gr HP XTP Hornaday bullet in the green MMP sabots.

I feel the Remington is an exelant inline ML. Yes takes a bit more to clean them than some of the newer models but if you like guns it isn't a chore.
I recommend you get a bolt take down tool as the bolt is the biggest trouble in cleaning this rifle and a MUST for good operation.
I paid $10.00 for the tool, a jar of solvent, a brass brush and a wipeing cloth at Gander Mountian.



Most of the Remingtons I have seen will shoot just about any thing you stuff down the bore very well.

One other thing, both of mine will group two shots with out wipeing between shots. Both shot all over the place with the 3d shot and all others till the bore is wiped out.
