A mallard drake. People were throwing bread to the ducks and I was fly fishing with a white streamer...and I couldn' t strip fast enough... and just as I decided to pick up the line to get it away from him and cast to a different spot, he hit it. Took me about 10 minutes to get him in on a 4X tippet. The bread throwers were giving me the bigtime evil eye. [&:]
