At that speed you shouldn't have any problems. I'm shooting a Trykon XL also and it will kill a deer graveyard dead at 278. There are many variables to take into account for a few fps and if it tears you up that it's not shooting faster take it to your local pro shop and see what they have to say. Could be your string silencers, string loop, or even the chrono. Honestly though you should be fine as long as you're accurate.
