RE: 30-Official Team Dirty 30 Thread
Actually, it is something that Pat Reeve does, and Mark Wimpy is one of his pro-staffers and lives like 10 miles from me, and I know him well, so he is teaching me and three other guys how to do it properly. So "school" is probably not the right term, but that is what Pat calls his summer session becuase there are usually like 30 guys that do it, pro-staffers and stuff for him. Mark said last night that on average if they get footage of 20 kills, 5-6 may make it to TV because there are so many elements that have to go into it to make sure that it is OK for TV. If all the h unt is great, but the recovery is all bloody and the ongue is hanging out and blood sprayed all over, that's not gonna make it. I never realized the heat these guys get for that kind of stuff, all these things that cameraman and hunter need to do to protect their own asses. I think it is going to be fun though to get in the tree and know how turn out a decent hunt. DEfinitely going to take some practice though and maybe even more muscle to get all that crap up in the tree!
