Guys, I have decided to hunt opening day next weekend with my recurve. I'm shooting it well and it is something I've been looking forward to. I've never made a kill with it. I have 2 misses on hogs and no hits. I have not deer hunted with it before. After my misses on the hogs I decided I needed to become more proficient. I feel ready now. From the backyard stand at 18' up I'm shooting 3-4" groups at 15 yds. My favorite stand in the oaks, where I have killed 3 deer, always gives me shot opportunities from 10 yds and under. We shall see!
