I usually hunt when I am on stand. To hell with all that other crap.
It is hard enough to spot a deer when you are paying attention. How do you expect to see one while you are playing games or reading a book? I might eat a snack but other than that I am looking for deer!
I don't think this could have been said any better! That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. When I bowhunt in Alberta, Isit all day (12hrs), every day,the whole week or until I kill a buck. It's too expensive to hunt any other way.Plus, I want to kill a buck, and that gives me my best chance.
I break my day up into 3 four hour hunts, It's a mind thing.
The only reason I'll get up is to streach, and or take a leak.
