OK - Here's my buck from last year - ya ya I know its not a big one, but It was the weekend before gun season and this guy walks up to me while I was target shooting- no kidding. He walked right past me at 15 yards. I picked up an arrow with a broadhead on and double lunged him. I still shake my head with a permi smile at the whole thing. With me is my 12 year old son(last year he was 11) He will be hunting with me for part of the season. I've also got an 8 year old who is a decent shot also.

I hunt Northern Wisconsin - I'm talking big woods. It can be real tough hunting but there are big deer in the area. I've got shot plots planted and some go to stands mostly on private property, but some on county forest.

I am into archery and have been teaching 4H'ers how to shoot this winter. Looking forward to Wisconsin opener on Sep. 15!
