Go for either the 22-250 or the .223. Both are great on coyotes. The .223 is a bit more fur friendly. The .223 is a bit cheaper when it comes to ammo. In my opinion the .243 is too much for coyotes, the 22-250 is plenty too, and the .223 is just right. I shoot the 22-250, but I like the results that I have witnessd by the .223.
