You will want the net to be a little tight. You want to shoot through flat net.

Works great with fixed blade broad heads and some expandables. Some of the expandables will open as soon as they go through the net. Again, according to the Double Bull guys, if you are shooting an expandable that has the band hold the blades closed, no problem.

As of now, I have shot through mine out to 50 yards with no change in impact points.

Some of the companies sell replacement nets for their blinds, which you will probably never need.

If you shoot 10 arrows in practice and then 1 deer, 1 antelope and 1 elk every year for the next 10 years, that is only 130 shots. You will probably not shoot all of these through the same window so it should last for a long time.
