bowhunter...probably a 3yo. beard legnth really means nothing when if comes to aging birds. they wear and break off and rot etc...

spurs DO wear and break off...but your in the same state i am. our birds dont wear much from what ive seen. usually REALLY rocky places like out west etc i believe will have wear from the rocks etc...but not PA...atleast that ive seen and ive seen a good pile of birds.

good luck gettin another one...i didnt buy a second tag..my spring hunting time is limited after the first 2 weeks...wanted to take a buddy tomarrow but im beat. 45hrs of landscape labor this week...its rough! lol...he will still most likely hunt alone...i was just going to play guide..maybe next saturday i'll get out 1 last time with him...
