Thanks. I was just wonderin because two years ago I shota nice bird and later guessed his age at around 3 or 4 years. He had 1 inch spurs. He had a 10" beard that was pretty frayed at the end, and he wieghed 22#s. His fan was also pretty beat up. Would you guys guess hes around 3-4 years of age? I had always been told that northern birds had shorter spurs than southern birds because they were always wearing them down on rocks and what not. Is this true?

Im headin out toa new areathis weekend. Hopefully I can put one down or at least hear some gobblin. Its been a pretty slow year for me so far.
