If you are not happy with a 629, I certainly would not buy a Taurus!!! I would suggest a Contender, IMO the Contender will outshoot the 629, but the Taurus will not shoot with theS&W. Tom.
What Taurus have you shot that's so bad? Plus, do you really want a single shot contender?
