if its for a big shot hunter working for HS or realtree or mossy oak that travels the country and hunts different places and animals then heck yes. especially if you still got some time off to hunt on your own. it would be an amazing experience where you could make connections and good friends.
other side of that is heck no, if i dont get any time to hunt on my own, then thats just too big of a part of my life to give up.
but rememeber guys, michael waddell started off not even dreaming of being IN FRONT of the camera. he started off in the position you described, by giving up his gun and settling for a camera. after many years he slowly got one or two hunts here and there and now his own tv show and one of the most well known hunters in the nation.
