Yea I do also. I carry a Glock Model 27 40 caliber. I hunt on public land and I am always ready for anything. When you are in the middle of no where and your cell phone doesn't get a signal you have to be ready. My brother carries one as well. I have never had to use mine.
This past year a pack of wild dogs invaded our peacefulness and my brother nailed one of them that came under his stand.
