Irish setter. 99% showbred and has lost it as a hunter. I love their looks and they could be a dog I could love if they could hunt
Don't shoot the Irish Setters as they are here and are very hard to find. They still are importing some today as well. Not all of the Irish Setters are show dogs my friend. They also have an excellent nose on them, and will do things some couldn't believe unless they saw it for themselves. But, because of what the show people have done to alot of them they are not out in the open as much anymore. I guess you could say alot has been learned on the Irish hunting dogs from the dangers that face them.




This is an older pic but will try to post some new after a run this spring some time. As I now have a new digital camera and no more going to get my photos developed.
