This might sound a little "off" to some of you. And maybe you folks out west hunt a little bit different...But I wouldn't even THINK about hunting so close to someone else that that scenario could even come up.

If I even suspect that there is another hunter within a half mile or so,,,I'll pack up and move.

Now, if I'm walking in or out of the woods, and came across a guy with a goofed up weapon and a wounded deer...Sure, I'd offer my rifle to him. Thats what this whole brotherhood of hunters is all about. I would be happy for him...Who knows, I might have just made a lifelong friend.
