Rob,

I use 452X. I have recently done a much better job since I got the BCY microstretcher. It allows me to put a lot of tension on a string to even out the load on each of the strands.My last string was left under tension for several hours before I served it and I've hadfewer problems with that string than any other.

Any other string building tips?

Nothing from me. I'm still in the learning phase as well. I've been having a heck of a time with the center serving on this last string, the loop keeps separating it and causing the nock point to shift up the string. [&:] I've served hundreds of strings and never had one quite this troublesome.
