2018 Smack talk

Keep it clean everyone.

Team 2 Turkey Wizards :action-smiley-099:Teams 1 Rejects and Team 3

RPD63 03-19-2018 09:56 AM

I would like to talk some smack for team 2 but them gobblers beat me up pretty good this past weekend. Lol. I’ll just say good luck everyone.

Phil from Maine 03-20-2018 05:16 AM

I can’t give much for the smack talk this year as I have missed the sign up.. But if any of the teams are lacking members maybe I can jump on.. Anyway I still find it hard to believe that some of you are hunting right now. Good luck everyone..

Don't forget to pack your jake calls, unless you're on Team 3- Turkey Slaying Suspects.

Western MA Hunter 03-20-2018 10:05 AM

Team 2 going for the win... complete with an all-star cast of contest veterans...

Phil from Maine 03-20-2018 04:04 PM

I guess I will be able to lay some smack talk again! Just remember I will be keeping an eye on you..

JoeA 03-21-2018 09:59 AM

Hey Frost-face! Glad to see you'll be back at it!

shemp 03-22-2018 06:23 PM

The only smack talk I was involved in was from the ice covered grass on Friday morning through lunch hour on Sunday...and that was a combo of the smack talked to me by the gobblers plus the salvo of distant gun shots that weren't from me

JW 04-11-2018 01:32 PM

I don't need no sticking shotgun! :-)

Are those turkeys in your hunting area smart like that? I have no doubt you can't even begin to come close like that here..:happy0001:

JoeA 04-23-2018 02:05 PM

Not 'zackly smack, but I want to congratulate rogerstv on a great bird he busted last week. Team 3 needs birds like that.

kellyguinn 05-10-2018 04:19 AM

Kinda quiet in here. Whats going on? Hen got yalls lips :poke:

Phil from Maine 05-14-2018 04:22 PM

No Team 1 is very nervous with Team 3 getting ready to post 3 new birds . Be scared be very scared..😬

Strut&Rut 05-15-2018 09:34 AM

Well Phil, I can’t remember you tagging a full tom
before, so of course you caught Team 1 by surprise. We weren’t counting on you scoring a real
bird 🤪

I believe I have posted a few 18 pound ones before. I guess your memory fails you.. lol
Besides yesterday's contest was just that and today's contest is now.

Phil from Maine 05-20-2018 05:18 AM

What did everyone do get nervous and take a nap. I know that there is other birds out there saying you missed me..

Strut&Rut 05-26-2018 09:15 AM

My wife’s second season of hunting and her first adult tom scored 60+. Not only did her bird outscore mine this year, she made an incredible 50 yard shot inside the woods.

I’ve got the best turkey hunting partners you can find - my son AND my wife!!

hahaha...beat that🤪

Arrowmaster 05-27-2018 04:32 AM

Be prepared JW is getting ready to post some birds as well.:hail:

Phil from Maine 05-27-2018 10:19 AM

You can’t beat that Strut&Rut.. Congratulations to your wife!!

I hope that JW has a bird on steroids to get around a 200 score. But there could be others holding out that could pop in with some more scoring..

Phil from Maine 05-27-2018 02:14 PM

Oooppss we just had another member show up with a bird to add to the score! I think that this next one will seal the deal for us on Team 3..

Phil from Maine 06-01-2018 04:06 PM

Thanks everyone for another great contest. I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable hunt. It is for the pure fun of it and a chance to see other birds from another part of the country.. Take care all..
