Just checking in. Our season doesn't start until May 1st. It's just around the corner but seems like an eternity away. Good luck team.

Nice bird Uncle Nicky. My uncle shot a 3 bearded Tom 3 years ago up here in VT. Set the new state record. I'm not sure what it scored exactly.

I am out hunting again on public land, might be my last chance.
Yesterday I had a guy walk into my set up twice: I think he was trespassing from another wma next door. He looked real sketchy and put his face mask on as soon as he saw me. Also had a hound dog run thru my set up at 1st light.
Today the winds are gusting 20-30 mph, I hunted till 10:00am and that was all I could take.
I have 2 more days: I feel like I would have a chance if it was just me and the turkeys.
Anybody else hunting?

I just got back from hunting in Texas. I got 2 nice toms. I'll post pictures and scores tomorrow. Been gone for 11 days, I have a bunch to catch up on.

Good luck bornagain64! I hope you can have some better luck.

That is awesome car! We can’t wait to see them..

VTBoneCollector my season does not open until April 30th so I know about the waiting. I am glad that I am on vacation the first week of it again because I am working a lot of hours. We have been short handed and a lack of training has me working an awful lot of hours this year. I will still be able to get out there some though..

I have a score of 56.125 on my smaller bird and 65.875 on the bigger bird. Both were Rio!
