Well done baldeagle.

Here in the NORTH and my Learn to Hunt program, we have 15'kids hunting in15 inches of snow.
Birds are tightly flocked. Very tough conditions.

Way to go Baldeagle!!! The Missouri youth season was just about the crappiest season for weather I can remember. Snowed both days off and on, cold north winds, didn't get above 39 degrees both days. Some kiddos killed but most I talked to froze out.

Very cold for my last youth weekend. I managed to kill this jake on Sunday morning. He weighed 15 lbs, 4 1/2" beard, and 1/4" spurs.

Way to go team!

I finished that state sanctioned Learn to Hunt I teach. 13 students who hunted in 15'inches of snow but our mentor team still did a fantastic job.
All saw and worked birds. 5 birds where harvested and two birds missed. That free kill tag is still valid until Sunday.

Congratulations to those who harvested birds. I scouted a bit this morning. Birds were gobbling on the roost. They went quiet after hitting the ground. Likely henned up. My season opener is Monday. Pictures forthcoming. Just haven't picked my subject.
