Thanks for leading our brigade as captain, Kelly.

I'll be in the woods in two weeks. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

Picked up another Wisconsin Zone 2 tag yesterday in the leftover sale so I’m fully stocked now. 3 IL tags & 2 WI. Should be able to fill 3. The other 2 are new spots I’ve deer hunted and seen birds. Wanted to try. First season opens April 9th for me. Good luck to all. Travel & hunt safe.

Default busted again

things were looking good this morning till the bobcat came in on my spread, & got busted by a hen. And noted that my new gun didn't need the factory spacer on the buttstock. I did have 3 birds gobbling before things went south. Now I know where they are roosting ( that changed since scouting ) maybe better results. And I think the bobcat stayed in the area so that really shut things down.

Dang pesky kitties can mess things up in a hurry!

Between the aircraft crash survival / Cabin Safety class we were putting on last week and being sick as a mule I haven't gotten a thing ready yet for the season. 10 days and counting. I'll be raring to go.

These late starting seasons here in Ohio is terrible. I've got youth season with my grandson April 21st and 22nd, then regular season starts the 23rd. The first week is the only somewhat good week, then after that its luck.
