Quiet bunch.

Hunting Mi and Wi.
Shot 7 birds last yr.
In Wi one can keep buying kill tags till they are gone. And they are never gone statewide.
Was part of 3 doubles last yr.
Double with my daughter
Double with my brother
Then last week of the WI season I shot my own double.
My best season ever.
also took 8 people out and 7 shot birds.

I do teach a Learn to hunt program in Wi.
and just been asked to start taking make a wish students.
so once the season kicks in.....I won't be around much.
and this all starts with my previous scouting March 24...
be safe out there

I had a fairly good season last year considering the time I got to hunt. Probably hunted a dozen or so times out of 46 available hunting days and we got 5 birds, 3 myself. Seemed like good action throughout the season. Got a couple the first week and they started gobbling good the last part of March. Got a real nice one the second to last day of the season. Taking a disabled hunter Tuesday afternoon after work to get the season kicked off. Took him last year and called a group up for him but he shot the fence haha. He's an awesome guy, tons of energy and passion for hunting. He was born with a muscle disorder and was not expected to live past 10 years old. He's in his mid 50's now and walks the woods with two crutches but you couldn't tell it. He gets after it and is just a one of a kind guy. Sure hope his aim is true this year!

Opening day is Wednesday for us and of course mother nature is going to be kind enough to bless me with below freezing temperatures for the first time since probably early January.........(sarcasm). Been pretty busy with work and building calls here at home. Check out my facebook page Southern Strut True Custom Calls. Got a couple of youtube videos of latest glass, crystal, and copper calls.
