I think it was the 2nd heaviest bird I've ever dropped. I've shot a 28+ pounder and it had a longer beard and longer spurs if I remember correctly.

I've said it before... I take NO CREDIT for doing anything special other than knowing people that have land that I can hunt. You people that get it done on PRIVATE are my heroes!!

Let's not forget that Joe has a bird for our score as well. I also can recall that camokenny pulled one of the high scoring birds around 2 years ago. That bird had 5 beards. So anything can happen yet.. I am hoping that I can help and add one to our score as well...

I posted your bird up BIG DONNIE BRASCO and I have a score of 80 for you. I am also wondering if you have any pics of a ruler on your spurs to save us from someone arguing with us about it near the end of the contest. We all know what that can be like.. Thanks..

with all the cash and prizes at stake I guess I can see why people would falsify their numbers and/or question the honesty of the rest of us!

They may also think I was standing on his wing pulling up with all my might in order to increase his weight. Or maybe I captured him as a poult and just fed him corn for 5 years, and kept him from exercising.

I didn't measure the beard as strictly as I should have, so I will tonight (alongside a ruler). I have a pretty good idea that I rounded down with my measurement, as it's just not that important to me.

I hear you Donnie and I am just saying it as it has happened in the past by one individual. I was captain on that team that saw it happen to one of our team members. I don't like to see it and just don't want to see someone else come on and complain. I have no issue either way though.
