Tagged out in Arkansas on Good Friday morning. Bird hung up on me for what seemed an eternity, but finally coaxed him in. He weighed 18.5 lbs., 11" beard, and 1 inch spurs. Score was 60.5

Congrates to all who have harvested birds.

I didn't vanish, Just got back from a 2 state run in Kansas and Nebraska. I got 4 longbeards to check in, 2 from Kansas and 2 in Neb. Saving my 3rd tag in Neb. for a later trip.
I will get the rest of the story to you tomorrow evening as I'm tired and need to get to bed as Iowa opens in the morning and I will see if I can make it 5 to check in.

My season does not start until May 1st and runs until June 3rd! So I should be able to get a bird up to try and help the team out. As a rule our birds are lighter in weight because they are more of a woods bird rather than fields. But we do have a few heavy weights if they will come out and play ...
