Last weekend at Hagerman NWR was a bust. Two hunters had taken gobblers out of 24 hunters when I checked out. I might be able to get back to Arkansas for the last weekend of their season.

BIRD DOWN! Shot at 6:30 this morning. 25 lbs, 9" Beard, both spurs 1 1/6 inch. Score 64.25

Unbelievable hunt. By far the heaviest bird I've ever killed.

Just got home from my trip to North Carolina. Bagged a nice one on my last evening of the hunt.
