Correction number 6 down too.
Dang jakes pecking on my bird. So I filled my last tag..with the biggest....but not before I checked. There are 129 kill tags left.
I have 2 days left.
Time to do to the bait shop....or buy online..

Sorry guys, tag soup for me this year. Heard a couple gobbles this morning but the only thing I had in range was a confused doe that was apparently afraid of plastic turkeys. Tomorrow is the last day of the season but I won't make it out. I blew the only shot I had all season back on opening day. Oh well, saw lots of birds and got reminded (over and over) about how tough these birds can be.

And on the very last day on the very last hour I could hunt this guy came in silent. I had a youth trap league meeting I could not miss and it was hot and buggy in my blind. I moved 4 times for this guy.
So at the end all the Plastic ladies paid homage to my last bird of 2016! R.I.P. in my freezer!
Ole "Meat in the Pot" barked 7 times this yr. by me and twice by others.....That leaves on round left for this fall. She will be cleaned and polished and put to rest in a safe cool spot!
Now to get my butt in gear and post all my stats! So I can call Spring of 2016 a Wrap!
