My vote is for #2 also!

Tought I'd share this.

Trying my hand at making some segmented striker handles. We all be turkey hunters and all, thought you might like to see. I used a hole saw to cut out the pieces from what was left of laminate glue ups I did to make pot blanks. Reglued some of them back up last night. Tonight after work, I tried turning a couple. Turned out ok. Still working on the right set up to turn them without breaking them. Broke 2 tonight. Anyways, heres a couple of fresh ones.

Post pics of your calls! Here's my arsenal, matching set I made last year. Purple Heart, Yellow Heart, and Maple. Glass over glass, Slate over Glass, and the trough call is Slate over Glass. Striker is a Diamondwood one piece. Color is Field and Stream, and has a Turquoise gemstone set in Sterling Silver.
