Leaving them alone til Mothers day, as I am taking my wife out for her bird. I want her to get a 80+ monster. Maybe we'll whack a Double!

I am blessed with plenty of ground to hunt and if one place isn't producing we just drive a mile or two to another spot.

There are ALWAYS birds present, and I have hunted here for so long I can always guess where they will be. A blind idiot could shoot a bird out here if he just sat long enough!

So there you go, I'm not a good hunter I just have a numb butt and I can sit for hours on end!

Mark my words, I'll drop at least one more bird that's a beast.

It's about time you laid one down Arrow. Way to go. That's going to make it tough to catch us. Nice bird, congrats. I knew we had a good team.

Good job on the birds. I have a couple more to get added when I have time. Both from Kansas.

I still have 21 days left to hunt here, and likely a trip to NE.

Scouting a new piece of ground tonight, where the land owner tells me there is one "old Tom" that he's been watching for "several years" !

I'm pretty excited to drop another 4-5 year old papa bird!

Awesome bird arrow! Congrats! Good luck in Texas. A little wing and hoof dinner sounds tastey to me! Knock down another monster Donnie! Can't wait to see some pics!

Wait til you see what I got... just cuz you asked so nicely.
sat in a downpour for 5 hours, ...cuz, so far as I know, no one ever shot one from their bed!
Put the time in and it certainly increases the odds!

Off to a dance recital for the little one for now.

I'll post picts once I clean the MUDDY beard... I'm on my phone now.
