Got back from Missouri a few days ago. Couldn't seal the deal there. Called in 4 toms and worked them for 2 hours. I mean it was a gobble fest. I bet those 4 toms gobbled 100 times. They even gobbled when I scratched the leaves. Never had them gobbling at scratching before. Finally they worked up to 45 yards, but no shot due to a brush pile. They wouldn't commit any farther or move to my left for a shot. Ive been hunting Indiana for the last few days with little luck. Had one gobbling this evening but the land owners dog barking put an end to that hunt. I'll hunt hard until Friday , thens its back off to Missouri and I head to Texas on May 13th.

Good luck Arrow! Sounds like you got a lot of hunting still ahead, so jealous!! Been an awesome season so far, but only hunted two days. Starting to get withdraws.

Come on guys. We have been overtaken by team 2 in best bird per hunter. We still lead in overall kills, but that won't keep our team together for next season. Looks like my season is over. I may go to Arkansas Saturday morning, but don't expect to hear or see anything. Let's knock down some more birds. I'm assuming most of you are still hunting.

Alright guys, I'll be out of contact until may 11th, then I'll be getting after a gobbler. Good luck to everyone still after birds!

Well then I guess we'll have to fix that. Couldn't take off from school, but going to the killing fields this weekend. Got a student that lives real close and keeps tabs for me. I'm taking him Saturday morning, he hasn't whacked but a couple. Says they're there!!!

Default last morning

Well guys, in about 2 hrs will be going out for the last hunt of the year, It's been awesome to be on a good team, sorry all I got were jakes. Not ashamed to bust a jake, I'm not at the rarified level of turkey hunting that only a longbeard will do. Good luck to all and let's get the feathers flying.
