I tried to get a doe this weekend but only had bucks close enough. Had 10 on a small food plot and got to watch the spar for a about 20 min until it got dark. Seems kinda late for that kind of activity. I'm pretty sure the second rut is over here.

Anyone else still out trying? I might get one more shot at a doe. The season ends here Jan 15.

Come on. Got plenty of public land that doesn't get hit hard at all during bow season.

I'm either going this weekend or next if the weather holds to try for a doe and some predators. The only problem is the wifes birthday is the 1st so I may be in trouble if I head out this weekend.

Our season ends Friday here. Looks like I will not be able to get back out by then to lay a doe down. I'm off Friday but as luck would have it I gotta go in for a dang colonoscopy. Ugh lol Oh well part of getting older I suppose.

Anyone still able to get out?

Still a week left but it looks pretty good. They may as well get the Hall of Fame statues ready for us. Bring on number 5...

The fat lady is warming up I think. I haven't called it, waiting for the 30th. Still want to congratulate you all for another year of good hunting!
